ITINERARIES

LOCATION OF THE YACHT AND ITINERARIES

Experiencing the sea on the Balun means sailing, observing nature through the manifestation of wind and waves, witnessing the magic of colours and smells, listening to the chirping of thousands of cicadas or coming across a dolphins’ family.
Balun is berthed at the Marina Hramina(www.marina-hramina.hr) in island of Murter. Being situated along the course heading North towards the islands of Rab, Olib, Silba, Lošinj, Cres and Krk and South towards the Kornati islands, Braè, Hvar, Korèula, Mljiet and Vis, Simuni is the perfect boarding port for nice cruises.

The marina is open throughout the year and it provides several services: reception office, exchange office, a restaurant, WC and showers, a foodstuffs store, a nautical equipment store and a parking lot.
Itineraries can be decided day by day by guests and captain together, given the “superior approval” of wind and sea.

Balun....what else?!?

For working and touristic reasons, we have been visiting the wonderful land of Croatia for many years; its enchanting landscapes and clear sea hide treasures and secrets of inestimable value as well as historical resorts covering 250 million years of history.
Reaching land from the sea where the coast is the most indented of all Mediterranean is an adventure differing from the usual vacation: it is a way of seeking shelter in a new world – almost an earthly paradise – in order to “recharge batteries” before going back to your daily hectic life.
There are few places where you can sail as you do in the Dalmatian archipelago, discovering thousands of islands and islets. Notwithstanding the cruising speed, everyday the natural characteristics as well as the diversity of the Croatian shoreline allow tourists to live and relax in a different landscape.
If you love the sea, the nights in a desert bay under a starry sky, berthing in a small fishermen’s port, forgetting everyday life and problems, discovering everyday a different island, eating in a nice tavern by the sea, making new friends and never being bored.......well, if you love all this, then go aboard the Balun!
Balun was built in 1987 in a shipyard of Istanbul; it was then renovated in 2004 and provided with large areas above and below deck, a teak deck and a large cockpit that make it the ideal setting for comfortable and enjoyable cruises with a crew consisting of 4 + 1 members: the captain, a seaman with a thirty-year experience,a seaman, the cook/hostess, Oliver dog 12 years old.
The passion of the crew for sailing, fishing and cooking will make your stay aboard very pleasant, even if it is your first time on a yacht.
